Centek remains flexible in meeting its customer’s needs when they offer multiple power options in both gasoline and diesel models.

Centek will work with the customer to obtain the correct specifications (rate of exhaust gas and cooling water flow and maximum back pressure allowed) for the engine operating conditions. These are generally available from the engine manufacturer, although Centek maintains extensive files on many of the more popular marine engines.

More than half of the exhaust applications that Centek works with for their customers require customized exhaust designs. Centek is the marine industry leader in providing this innovative service to it’s customers.

Centek maintains an in-house DYNAMOMETER to load a marine engine to provide testing capability on many new exhaust designs. State of the art sound pressure level and back pressure measurement equipment is used to collect data to evaluate product performance while insuring that maximum power output of the engine is not negatively impacted. Centek conducts periodic destructive internal pressure tests on its’ products to insure best possible structural integrity.
